Why can't the gay community marry yet? I'm not one to follow societal expectations, but what's going on here? I know lots of people say Jesus would back them on their thoughts about only straight couples being able to marry, but they clearly haven't read any of our master's words. He loves us all and could careless about who chooses who to spend the rest of their lives together. It's the 21st century! Grow up!!
Quit acting like a gay couple sharing their life together is not in God's plan. Clearly it is! It's happening whether they're married or not. Life is ultimately perfect because God chose it to be so. Don't try to say IT is wrong. Isn't that blasphemy? HA. Plus it doesn't affect you at all, unless you get irate because they're more happy than you are, and that's your problem, not theirs.
I saw a documentary the other day about the republican party during the 2008 elections. A large majority of them said they aren't ready for a black man to be president. I got flashbacks to the 50's when I was still wandering around in the spiritual realm. Lots of people talk about the "good old days." One man, white man of course, said he still doesn't think women should be allowed to vote. To steal a little material from Bill Maher, the good old days were only good for white men. Women, blacks, gays, foreigners, dwarfs, non-Christians, and the rest of the minorities call those days the "really really shitty old days." That's exactly what they were unless you were a white male.
Those days are long gone and we still can't accept gays? Just about everyone realizes women are equal, some have taken in our black brethren, but too many still have trouble letting the gay community live in peace in our world, when their lives don't even touch ours. I say theirs and ours, but really there is no difference as far as God is concerned. We are all the same when stripped of our physical bodies. Yes, we are individuals with different thoughts and opinions, but I think gays have much more harmonious thought forms than hateful religious addicts.
When the day comes in the near future when we finally know for sure we are not alone in the universe, I promise you all the religious fanatics will not care if two gays decide to get married. By the way though, fuck marriage. If you're married and happy that's all that matters, just don't discriminate on others trying to do the same. And certainly don't hate on us who choose not to marry.
I know we have to fight for equal rights for all, but once we give those rights to the righteous gays, let's abolish marriage! Why not? Some want it but don't need it. Others need it but don't want it. Some want it and do need it, but only because this society throws marriage in our face the day we're born and they feel they can't live without it. Then we got some who don't want or need it. We should all fall into this final category. We can spend our lives together without having the state involved. Why is being married so socially accepted but my girlfriend and I who could be more faithful and in love than most married couples are not even acknowledged as a legitimate couple?
This shit had to get started at some point and it will likewise have to end at some point. It's time to grow and evolve together. We must unite with all of our fellow human beings, as well as our animal life. Once we stop killing other species to survive ourselves, which will take 1000s of years to accomplish, we will have to progress again and unite with our plant kingdom. The mineral world will follow, but that will be a few 100000 years from now. I look forward to it.
If you don't know from my previous posts, we will all experience all of this in our future lives. Reincarnation aligns with our religious texts and will also be a scientifically proven fact of life in the near future. Even though at that time our religions will still ignore the evidence for many years, just like evolution. So with all that being said, let's accept our Gay-Lesbian-Bi-Transexual community. We can't align with our planet earth and raise our human consciousness until we first accept all of our fellow earthlings, and too many slaughterhouses are thriving. It's passed the time to grow up, so please catch up.

You know we live in a very experienced society, yet we are part of a young country still trying to really find itself. This in no way is an endorsement of the egregious prejudices which plague our society. It took years for Native Americans to be given citizenship, it took centuries for Civil Rights Legislation to be passed, and we are still in a fight for rigths form Latin Americans. What I am trying to say, is though this country is severley flawed and the stains of once intolerant generation fail to cede, we are making progress. California, the NBA, FIFA have all looked at boycotting the Sun Devil State, we got a great extension of the hate crime laws to include Gays, we are getting there but it is taking a while but I ask you what other country has made the strides that we have, we represent citizens from every country and it takes a while to get them all to unite.
